It appears that ATT moved to a new provisioning system Monday. Apparently one of the 'features' of this system is that it is not allowing activations, deactivations and account changes.

Guess who has to move a user's service to a spanky new Curve.... From a pre-Cingular ATT 7290. With a pre-Cingular ATT plain SIM that's not compatible with the Curve...

ARGH!!!!!!

I failed to maintain my buzz this AM for this?

Good to know about the new system. AT&T has been a thorn in my side for a while now. We have them for blackberries, data, and phone. We are moving buildings in March and AT&T can cutover data on a saturday, but not the phone line.

We got a Curve that was rebooting constantly, I tried to contact my rep to get a new one sent to me since googling the issue said that was the only surefire fix. Rep wanted to troubleshoot on 3 day old phone. I may have posted about it here.

Anyway, my boss knows a guy who used to be a vz rep who is now a sprint rep. Boss says sprint may offer us a deal good enough to switch for our blackberries. (Hate all you want on sprint, I used to sell phones for them and their business customer service people are way cool compared to the regular cs)

Damn you AT&T, our life is miserable enough with users!

Hmf. Maybe THAT'S why I suddenly can't send text messages off my old Nokia 6102i.
