I think I made a mistake coming here. It is my fault that I didn't read all of the info listed for this page. A simple answer to my earlier question could have been that I needed to ask someone else. Instead I get some of the rudest answers that I've ever heard. I am sorry that I posted that question but I don't think its right that people make me feel like crap because of it. It will not happen again. I think people need to lighten up a little.

Okay, I will explain this as simply and nicely as I know how.

- This community is for people who work tech support. All day, every day, we deal with people asking stupid questions, insisting they know more than we do, ignoring our advice, and generally making us feel like taking a sledgehammer to the planet.

- People do not deal well with boxing up every emotion and thought and leaving it like that. People who do this frequently tend to commit homocide, sometimes mass homocide. Therefore, expression of emotion is a positive thing.

- We can't really blink at stupid people and say, "You're a fucking moron." Boss-people who sign paychecks tend to frown on that. Therefore, we express these thoughts to each other, point, laugh, offer support, and generally act like a really fun 12 step program.

TONS of people, not just you, have ignored the very clear warning in the userinfo and continued into this community to ask us the same questions we hate being asked on a regular basis. Therefore, they get mocked, as EVERY OTHER person needing tech assistance for some unimportant issue does in this community.

However, taking very funny, very sarcastic comments so personally shows that YOU need to "lighten up a little." Nobody in this community genuinely wishes you any harm (well, not YOU personally), so acting as if we do is childish, immature, and way way WAY too dramatic for my personal taste.

Knock it off, sweetie - we're not going to apologize because you want to take your toys to another sandbox now.
