"Server threw it's toys out of the cot - had to reboot it. Should be back up now"

I wish to propose "ToC error" as a new technical term.

Depends on your acronym system...some use lower case to designate 'nuts and bolts' words, others leave them out altogether.

But since leaving "of" out of it gives you a perfect TLA I'd go with the latter.

Without even knowing the specifics of the problem or set-up, I can easily understand exactly what a TOC error is...
which means it's a lot clearer than most standard error codes!
