.. because that's what's ran through my head today when I was fixing some guys PC. I don't have this happen too often, but it really
pisses me off when it does. This guy had a new laptop, to replace his old work PC, and could still work on his PC, yet this idiot kept on coming over and watching me fix the PC, getting right in my face.

I was that far away from screaming 'Listen, f**tard, you aren't accomplishing anything by doing this other than pissing me off royally and making it harder for me to get my job done. If you really knew anything about computers, you could have set up your laptop on your own and not needed me to sort it out.' I swear, I'm never touching that guy's PC again. Anyone else have to put with this kind of crap?

oh, all the time, like with the $OWNER_OFTHESTORE_IWORKFOR, LIkes to know *everything* I'm doing, from Cisco IOS, to the Linux servers... I've come close to giong off on him, but alas, my patience kicks in and stops me from leaving blood everywhere.

My friend used to complain about his crazy boss who barely spoke English yelling at him while he fixed laptops at the store. "What you doing?!?!?!, Why not finished yet?!?! Hurry up" And he'd be like...I just opened the case.
Patience is a virtue. We all have it in large amounts, if only we could teach the customers.

Seriously. I've never thought of myself as a particularly patient person, but then I see people go off at every little thing: Tech support (me), store clerks (me), other shoppers (not me), and I really wonder.

If you can do tech support you are. Period. If you can make it through day after day of calls or customers in person in your face without snapping you are a patient person.
