I asked for a suggestion on another browser from this group not too long ago and someone suggested Mozilla Firebird to me. It's great I like it but two questions:

Where in the world is the autofill feature on this thing?

And

My screen is literally bouncing! The row of tabs is just bouncing up and down moving the entire contents of the browser screen. Anyone ever hear of that?

Autofill as in, the way forms will automatically fill out for you using the Google Toolbar on IE? If that's what you mean, I don't know if there is such a thing.

Or do you mean the way IE will remember the different values you enter on forms? If that's what you mean, Tools>Options>Privacy>Saved Form Information.

And the tabs moving up and down? Never heard of anything like that. But I've only been using it for a week :)

I think you can get it at , but as far as I can see it doesn't have the autofill deal goin on. And it's possible you were using a skin that doesn't support 0.7? Perhaps.. A lot of them don't. (http://googlebar.mozdev.com)

Well, I'm not sure about Firebird, but in Mozilla, all I have to do is double-click on one of the fields, and if there's a value in there that I've filled in before, it'll fill it in again.

As far as the tabs thing goes, again, this is coming from Mozilla, but I remember there being an option for this when I tried Firebird before. There's an option under tabbed browsing to keep the tab bar on at all times. Actually, the text of the checkbox is "Hide tab bar if only one tab present". You should be able to turn that off, and the tab bar will stay there.

Yeah, at this point, I couldn't deal without tabbed browsing. It sucks that I have to use IE at work, because at this point, I'm so used to using Mozilla, it's like second nature to me.

I'll stick with my earlier support for Opera. It does autofill reasonably well and tends to be more stable than Mozilla was for me.
