Had a guy write us about a product that has nothing to do with us, so I sent him a reply with a link to the company that supports it. He wrote back with the most asinine reply evar making him officially the Prick of the Month:

Tried as you suggested.  They reffer me back to you.  Now I'm starting to imagine how somebody with AIDS must feel

OMG. Drama queen! I am quite sure that having a terminal disease and dealing with  tech support are nothing alike, you fucking chode!

Tell them that you've had a close friend die from AIDS and you don't appreciate them comparing their minor inconvenience with a fatal disease.

Given the general level of FAIL I'd say the customer probably screwed up that too and typo'ed it...ADD mayhap as the above suggested.

I would be tempted to refer them to an AIDS hospice for further support.

Simply reply back with this:

"Unfortunately, we can not offer support for clients running the AIDS operating system. For more information and complete support regarding your request, please seek assistance from the following resource:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDS).

Sincerely,
The Management.

Better yet, host an entry for acquired immunotechnodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and that his kind can be treated humanely with patient and informative technical support. In the event of complete failure with technology they can be moved to a hospice type environment where their obsoleted condition will fail to impact the progress of society.
