techrecoveryI've been keeping track of my daily *wins* for problem tickets I get. Today's win was for a computer not booting up.
When I went to check it out, there was a lovely blue screen, & a message that said something to the effect of, "ROM error, ESC key may have been pressed during boot."
Lo and behold, they had a little radio sitting right on the ESC key on the keyboard. I removed it, and it booted right up.
Sometimes I really wish people would just read the error messages that they get ... but then again, job security is nice.
