Emails to support should never attempt to describe in detail the funny beeping, booping, hooting, dinging, etc. coming from your "'puter" by trying to explain it's tone, pitch or volume.

e.g. "...4 tone hooter type sound coming from my speakers, high-low-high-low..."

Please, for the love of God, CALL and try to imitate the sounds so I can laugh my ass off. Is that too much to ask?!

That's what makes for the best calls on "Car Talk"-- someone willing to attempt to replicate the sound their car makes when it's doing whatever.

Computers might be good for this, but people can't seem to replicate beep codes over the phone.
