When my boss says in his voice mail "If you require immediate help, please call blossomingfire" it does not mean I'm his fucking secretary and keep his calendar to block time for you.  I do not know his schedule or even whatever frou frou project it is he's working on for you, so leave a damn message for him in his voice mail.

Well, if he said, "If you require immediate help ..." in the message, no wonder people are calling and expecting you to set up appointments for him. Insufficiently specific message. :D

"If you have an urgent need for technical assistance with _____, please call $tech, otherwise leave a voice mail at $secretary's number ..." Won't do much to stop the people who zombie-route to talk to any instance of class "human", or VIP prima donnas for whom any even insignificantly technical thing is "urgent", but at least it would help a bit .. :)
