why do people always come in to the office and say "is there a problem with X?" why cant they say "my computer is not doing this. can you fix it?" it would be easier. at this point i expect them to be Lusers, but to ask the answer instead of the question....uugh. i have people tell me they have tried everything, i have people tell me they dont know what the error message was because they clicked off of it, went to lunch, hung out in the break room for 20 minutes, then when they got back and it hadnt fixed itself they call. or here it isnt working then up and vanish into the office...me standing there with a confused look going...looks ffine to me.

we actually have a poster on the back of our office door with a big circle drwn in the middle and the famous words in the circle "BANG HEAD HERE". it does work. but only if you take the Lusers head to it.

I like when I walk in the office first thing in the morning and before I even get to my desk someone asks "do you know if X is down?" or "do you know if there is a problem with X"? Yeah, I guess I should've realized to be techsupport I also need psychic skills.

I get so much joy when something acutally is down. They call, ask if it's down, and I say "why yyYYYESSSSSSSSS!!" This usually stuns them for a moment, I tell them to call back in an hour, and they hang up and go away for a while.
