It takes a lot to rile me. I'm medium-thick-skinned, and can understand that if you've been having problems for a while or the last rep was rude, you're upset. You're running a Mac, and we don't have a lot of Mac customers, but our onsite tech had done all the right things and your computer had all the correct settings, so a little less "it's your $ISP's fault it's not working" would have been nice. Especially when we discovered that the reason your Macintosh was still picking up a home network was that your airport was still turned on in the corner. Maybe it was too much for me to expect an apology. Less self-righteous attitude, however, might have been in order.

But your response to the standard "So is there anything else I can help you with?" was purile, infantile, arrogant, sexist, offensive and completely undeserved, considering that I had just sorted out your own technical error.

Consider yourself lucky I didn't report you for abuse.

mutter mutter "you can come and do my washing for me" indeed. Creep.

*sigh*

I'd much prefer you made me pancakes. The last time I had pancakes made by you they were amazing! I'll offer trade for coffee, just like last time. :)

PS: Boo!

PPS: I seem to be saying "Boo" to a lot of people in here lately. :P

This coming weekend or the next? Not that it matters much, as I should be at both. I just want to make sure I don't forget!

I'd say that's grounds for a smackdown. I'd be happy to come down and do it for you.

Fucker. Any way of having to carry out "line testing" every day for a month or so between the hours of 6-9pm?

the correct come back would have been:
"Why am I not surprised that you have problems operating a washing machine, sir?"

I would have accidentally clicked on the unbind button and taken service down, and put it in the notes that the customer disconnected the call. and then go on break.
