Remember y'all I deal with field techs!
This one was having trouble getting the modem online.

Me: What type of OS are they running?
Him: It's a MAC
Me: OK, I need a little more info
Him: It's a Intel Sempron.
Me: ... Did you just say a MAC is running an Intel Sempron?
Him: Yes.
Me: You know Intel and Sempron are processors right? For two different computer companies?
Tech: Oh... she said it's MAC 10.
Me: OK then.

Yup. Almost bought the M-11 variant - no less than $3k + $200 Fed tax (+ another $200 fed tax if it's out of state) + dealer fees +..... The actual Mac-10s tend to go for a bit more.

Nope. Unlike prebuilt PCs, Mac laptops and desktop systems aren't so caked in stickers that you need to use a hacksaw to get to the actual computer.

When we build PCs at work, we generally take the stickers (these days, the case, mobo and processor each have their own) and put them on a test-rig that we keep in the workspace; based on sticker-count, it's some sort of supercomputer by now. Very glittery as well.
