Had a realtor call in and... well, let me just share my own notes from the call:


Cust having issue with an attachment. It won't open in Adobe.
Not a pdf file.
Text.
Opened in Word.
Was the contents of the email:
'I'm faxing you those documents.'
Cust panicking that the rest of the documents aren't there.

Educated cust on difference between fax and email.
Ok.

It doesn't matter the age - notice the descriptor "REALTOR". All Realtors are rolled with -1,000 clue. But they do get +2 to shiny white teeth.

Working at Realtor.com, I can not honestly say I am suprised.

We have a program similar to E-fax that will send any original printable file through the net for us to fax out. It can be sent to any combination of email addresses, physical fax machines or other subscriber accounts. So while the original may still be a doc, jpg, whatever, then end product may be a PDF, TIF or hard copy fax.


And we have quite a few realtors for customers. They can receive faxes from a fax machine to a toll free number, and have them automatically sent via email as a PDF

My mom is a realtor and she gets most incoming faxes in her email. However, she DOES know what a fax machine is too and what the difference between the two are.
