Safari Woes - X posted
Nov. 13th, 2003 02:26 pmI have spent the last 3 days trying to figure out Safari's authentication. Before moving everyone here to Panther, I want to make sure there will be no kinks. However, I can not pull up our intranet in Safari. It immediately says "error: access denied" doesn't even prompt me for authentication, like Explorer does. Anyone know what the problem is? Is it Safari or is it the intranet. Thanks in advance.

Date: 2003-11-14 09:07 am (UTC)Having said that, you don't HAVE to use Safari in Panther. you can still use Explorer, although I'd try something like Mozilla Firebird first as it is MUCH faster. Also, you might want to try contacting this guy: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/hyatt/
He's one of the Safari developers and might be able to shed some more light on your problems. Good luck.
