Just forward the exchange up the food chain and make sure HR gets a copy. Somebody that stupid regarding data security is too stupid to be working there regardless of credentials.

no, he sent that email 5 minutes after we received the original request, before we even read the original request. I think he saw the request go in and assumed it would be immediate...
because he obviously assumes I'm like some sort of demi god or something.
