Never, Ever Again am I going to fail to strip out ALL the extra crap that comes with the computer... EVER!

Dude took what might have been a quick fixup and turned it into a complete rebuild by attempting to be smart.... Argh!

hehe I actually made ooh about 200$ on such a thing.

a nt 4 server had the "a driver or something didn't start right on startup" so an economical assistant "put the NT cd in to verify the installation" (yupp his exact words!).

didn't do that much damage but all the registers at this store ran against the servern and the software was an old stupid thing hardcoded so K: had to be to c:\server\dir\bla\bla\dfgsd\sdfgsd\program.exe and so on with about 10 diffrent k: l: g: and so on .

So had to dive back and forth from the registrers to the server to put these into place again. took me 3 hours.

Meanwhile the poor cashiers had to handwrite down everything they sold during this time.

The economyassistant was fired on the spot and presented with a bill for our work. hohoho.
