Date: 2007-02-23 10:47 pm (UTC)If he has either of the firewalls configured for true stealth mode (i.e. inbound TCP and UDP requests that aren't to specifically allowed ports just vanish into the bit bucket), and he thinks *that* isn't enough, he's on some good meds. Or needs to be. :D
But whether that's true or not, if he expects *you* to send somebody out to deal with the hackers, he's calling the wrong people. And has probably more than exhausted the patience of the right people.
