Hi G
Infopath is not used to create or maintain databases, which is what you need, check out Microsoft Access, (it's on your computer).
I don't think that you will need folow chart software either if you only intend to collect/store information.
Flow charts are for mapping processes and decisions.
If you would like to call me we can discus this in furtther detail and try to sort out what you need.

It's a Database you need then, (MS Access).
Once it's created you could use MS InfoPath to enter the data but creating database forms is an integral part of MS Access so it's not really necessary.
If you want any further info please call me.

Hi G
Info path is for electronic data collection; that data can then be entered into a new or existing spreadsheet or database.
MS Project tracks projects.
I can't help thinking that if you need a database maybe you should have a look at MS Access, there are several suppliers of Flow Chart software available but we do not have any licensed software to do this.
If you call us to tell us what you need to do maybe we can be of more help?

Hi G
MS Project is used to track the progress of specific projects eg building works, implementing strategies etc.
It does not create databases or flow charts.
Maybe you should give one of us a call to have a chat.

Date: 2007-01-11 06:16 am (UTC)But that said? Most flow-charting software has aspects that can be/are used to create ERDs and other database structure diagrams...
So yeah, if Luser has a clue how to develop a database (bwahahahaha!!) s/he might benefit from having something like Visio.
