IT Frustration #3627: Being asked to set up a network for a new group of students, being given "free reign" over the design and configuration of this network, and then having to spend an hour halfway through the process sitting down with Management and going, "Yes, this is the best way to do things, no, it won't touch this other network, yes, I know what I'm doing, no, it really won't touch that other network, yes, I need this network configuration change approved, for the third and bloody final time, no!"

Bah. Why do I let myself get talked into these things again?

*snort* Nah, it's only if you keep doing it over and over again that 'fail' might come into play. Kinda like users and their passwords. ;) (Truth is, I probably shouldn't have said anything at all.)
