Nope. Just your local computer store. Initially I was thinking they pulled the system requirements off of some game or something, but nothing is out that would list Vista yet. So I'm guessing they are your average "I managed to install a USB device therefore I know everything about computers" person.
Yea - I'm trying to train them to CALL ME when there is an error message - and READ IT TO ME.
"I had an error message" "What does it say" "Uuuuuuhhhh.... I already clicked through it. Now my machine doesn't work..."
"Oh, well there were some error messages and flames coming out of it last week but I didn't want to bother you because you're so busy!" (Now I'm going to do over time...)
No joke. We were testing Vista last week. I have 1GB of RAM in my system and it was using half of that on a fresh load. Good luck with that 512 stick when Vista does come out.
After four Alaskan winters, my poor car's battery got a bit cranky when the temperature dropped once again below 0F. The sound it would make as it tried to generate the cranking power to start the engine comes to mind when I think of that computer configuration.
One of my friends took advantage of the wintertime weather. http://humanplacebo.livejournal.com/2004/10/10/ (http://humanplacebo.livejournal.com/2004/10/10/)

Then trick you? What are you best buy?

Best Buy, how I loathe thee...
