Description of problem:
I would like to find a schedule of classes for a chemical engineering degree as far as first, 
second, third and my fourth year
i am doing a research project for school and need to know a basic curriculum or schedule of 
a chemical engineer for all four years
just a list of the classes will do

Apparently not. Nor can they go to the CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT web site to ask the people that actually know the answers to questions about Chemical Engineering students.

I actually get a lot of these kinds of questions. I don't understand it, since I think my instructions on the page are fairly clear. It is a page for reporting problems with the web pages for which I am responsible.

I am not an academic advisor, nor am I student affairs, the Chemical Engineering department secretary, or even the webmaster for the Humanities department. If it isn't a problem on the Records and Registration web site, it isn't my problem.

My mother's a college professor, I see this idiocy all the time. When I was in school it was no different...I swear, all you need sometimes is a pulse, and a faint one at that. :/

There are people who think that webmaster must somehow be related to 'headmaster'. And a kindly webmaster will forward such enquiries to the appropriate department, takes about a minute to hit forward. But of course, you don't have to be a nice person to be a webmaster... oh well. Too bad for everyone. You get disturbed, and they don't get helped... and the wheel of great customer service turns round and round.

Now, you know that requiring students or even potential students to not only read but comprehend English is the patriarchal suppression of everyone else not making $200,000+ year. Shame on you for furthering the enslavement and degradation of the world. I used to do so, but I got rather sick of it. I think people are just telling each other "Go to this site, fill out this form, the Webmaster for OSRR will tell you who you need to e-mail/will do your Google search for you/will act as your own personal e-mail switchboard/whatever."

I hate those people. They are also the ones that whine and chew in your ear over the phone.

We switched from a homegrown reg system to peoplesoft. The IT help desk just is supposed to walk the student or faculty through a password reset. Or tell them how to find the page to log in.

The students think that we supposed to hold their hands and walk them through how to reg for class. No we're not. Read the (&*^& instuctions.

And don't bitch at me how much it sucks. I didn't make this system.

Oh, and the best ones is when they ring up Systems Support (ie. Desktop) to ask about their bloody schedule. "Go to the student office and ask [if you're that stupid]" was my usual response.
