The black and color ink cartridges theory
Sep. 14th, 2006 11:22 pmSo I get this call from a guy tonight about his printer not printing. Did the whole troubleshooting stuff and we finally came to the "select cartidges" screen. The color is usually 27 and the black one is usually 16, according to the manual that we have. So I tell him to select 27 for color and for a hot moment, I had a brain fart and had forgotten if the black was 16 or 17 for him to select. So he goes ahead and gives his rational statement, "Hmm, well I guess it would be the 17 since the color is 27.. It would be 16 if the color was 26." As soon as he stated his logical theory, my brain functions again and I tell him, "Sir, I don't think that is how it works. It's actually 16." And that's the end of that.
For some reason, it was actually funny and I lolled.
