I work for a Top 10 Real Estate Agency. We get stupid requests all of the time from agents, office managers, and well, everyone else too. I thought this one really took the cake, I just had to share. This e-mail came from one of the help-desk guys who work from our corporate headquarters.

Mr. CFO and Mr. President want us removing the “Intel Inside” stickers that distinguish the Celeron machines from the Pentium machines. Agents have been complaining that they only got a Celeron.

Way to save money guys!

Someone else on the team had something to say about this:

I have an even better idea.. Lets put Intel Inside stickers on all the machines and make everyone happy.

Aside from AMD fanboys, that is.

Just go whole hog and put "Type R" stickers on the Pentium boxes...

I have a better idea than that, one that wastes no company time, effort, or money.

Mr. CFO and Mr. President to the agents complaining:
"Shut the fuck up and get the hell back to work."

It's the rice-puter!

You forgot the large FCC-violating window on the side.

and lights, lots of lights.

and a HUUUUUGE "lawn mower" handle on it.

and 20 pounds of plastic racing stripes.

Oh, and a fan right that generated enough thrust to life it off the ground to keep it cool (and lets you use ground effect lighting! double win!)

Superior answer, but it smacks of Spine. (and posession thereof)

True. From a CFO or company president, though, spine is accepted.

I'm lucky to work for one of the few companies left in the data sector that accepts and even encourages any amount of spine in employees. If our boss says that we aren't going to put up with any crap from a customer, amazingly? We don't put up with crap from them.

You could always remove all the Intel Inside stickers, and attach these:
