28000 e-mails in the Inbox...

My boss has 28000 e-mails in his inbox. Yes, just the inbox.

He asked me today "Why is it running... a little slow ?"

Can anyone here beat this number ?

(So I shat in his filing cabinet and left it at that)

I saw 10000 yesterday and the mail file was completly corrupted.

there's a professor who was having mail issues...

he had 32,000 messages in his inbox.

Friend of mine worked at Nortel and had one upper-level exec who had never deleted a single email in the 7 years he had been there. It was somewhere up around the 32,000 level.

He said once they purged the mail file, it freed up an entire hard drive on the rack mount.
