my worst tech support call happened like this:

stupid lady: i can't connect to the internet
me : ok to get started i'm going to neeed you to close all the windows you have open
stupid lady: really?
me : yes, it will give us a clean slate in order to get any problem resolved
stupid lady: ok *clunk*
me: hello? hello? hello?

then i hear

*ssssssh crack* *ssssssh crack* *ssssssh crack*

stupid lady: ok all my windows are closed, but it's really hot in here, is it ok if i turn on the air conditioner
