So yeah, this RPC issue is causing us all kinds of grief today.
Looks to me like it's some kind of distributed attack, since we have tons of customers calling us with the error message.. ("Remote procedure call RPC service terminated unexpanctly please reboot the computer." then it reboots.)
Yet another example of why you should update your OS.
