The best thing I've ever gotten to say at work

I've just changed roles (I'd said I was quitting, ended up given better work, long story). This resulted in a magnificent exchange on the phone yesterday.

*my line rings - internal call, I pick up*: "Hi Cheryl whats up?"
*colleague*: "I have a call on the line for the helpdesk, he needs help with blablah?" (she's in accounts, sometimes tech calls come to her by mistake)
*me, with glee*: "Actually, I dont work on the helpdesk anymore! I'm sorry, can you transfer it to one of the other guys?"

:D

BEST DAY EVAR. Although, technically it means I shouldnt get to post here anymore, heh ;)

Heh. The only reason I'm here is because there is a phone on my desk (and one on my hip which I usually ignore), and that I do a bit of phone support because this way I don't have to strangle them in person.

I imagine that we have a few people here that would be better suited to bofhen (or are in there already; I don't think I'm *quite* qualified yet)
