From a log I saw today ->
Fault or Error on printer : "Help me I'm covered in toner"
The user had opened the toner cartridge and spilled it all over herself and the machine.

Date: 2005-10-14 12:44 pm (UTC)The tech, probably misunderstanding what the issue was, told me to remove and shake the toner cartridge. I was like, "Uh, really?" and I think I tried to explain more, because my instinct was that this would not be a good thing. But he was insistent upon me shaking the thing.
Against my better judgement, I did so. Turned out the cartridge was broken or something and toner went EVERYWHERE. It got all over my hands and arms and clothes. Grr, was I pissed.

OFF!!
Yuck.
Date: 2005-10-14 10:20 pm (UTC)Nothing printed when I ran a test page, so I pulled the cartridge back out.... and that's when it decided to split wide open. I was enveloped in a black cloud.
Not fun at all.
