Me: Hi Dr. ------, how can I help today?
Him: When I print, your program crashes
Me: No problem, let's check out what's going on. Can we get connected?
Him: Fantastic! You sure can!
*I connect to his machine and search for printer... find none available*
Me: Uhm sir, were's the printer?
Him: Oh, that's back at the office *slight pause* Do you need it?
Me: *mentally plants face into keyboard* Yes, sir. It's the only way to troubleshoot this issue. Do you have time to go to the office so we can troubleshoot furhter?
*Dr calls from office*
Me: Ok sir, do you have your laptop hooked up to the printer?
Him: Yes.
Me: Great, so let's go ahead and get connected.
Him: Oh, we can't do that.
Me: *pause, wincing in pain, bc I just ~know~ it's coming* Uhm, ok... why not?
Him: Because we don't have an internet connection here at the office
Me: *begin to mentally and repeatedly plant face into keyboard* No problem, we can work around this. So, I'll just get you to troubleshoot with me then.
Him: Oh sorry, can't do that... I have to see clients. But here, talk to (insert assistant-with-not-technical-knowledge-at-all-and-cannot-even-turn-on-the-computer-without-it-becoming-a-major-production's-name-here) she can help you.
*Dr leaves assistant*

Although I attempted to work with her for about an hour, it was pretty clear that the issue was not resolved.
