techrecoveryA woman rang me up today to ask for assistance with the form she needed to fill out to apply for an email account with us.
She wanted to know what she had to put where it asked "what account name would you like - list 3 choices". Uhh, ok. "well, what email address do you want? Put the first part there, all in lower case. You have 3 choices in case one might be taken already".
"Yeahbut what do I have to put there?" she replied. You dont HAVE to put anything but WHAT YOU WANT! I muttered internally. It took explaining what a username was 3 times before she got it that yes, it was up to HER to choose her email username. Jaysus H....
