Technical Support is here to solve problems, not as your personal data monkey. If you can't remember the username, login realm, finance reference or even your bloody postcode! so I can look up your account, kindly do not abuse myself or my company on our lax customer service skills. I am not CS: I am a corporate helpdesk. I solve technical problems, not exacerbate yours. And certainly do not - once I've decided to walk to the other side of the building, down two storeys, simply to find your Accounts Manager because I don't have a finance reference - simply hang up out of impatience, and then proceed to abuse the next unfortunate corporate helpdesk rep for my tardy attitude.
Do us a favour. Learn some of your details, and call the right department. Don't ever contact us again.
