This is me. This is me working a 10 hour shift. This is me working a 10 hour shift while I've a cold that makes my nose want to fall off. This is me doing all that when I just really want to pack so I can move to my new apartment.

So yeah... basically I was rude, nasty, impatient, incomplete, and downright annoying. I had 5 people request my supervisor... because I was so patient/competent/helpful. WTF. I should have bad days more often... it could lead to a raise.

But seriously... if you have no lights on your modem... wouldn't you check that it's power cord is at least connected to either the wall or the modem, if not both? dude.

It sometimes seems that the only time I get promoted is when I verbally bite chunks out of some idiot manager. The rest of the time I'm just warming up to the outburst.

Plus - the better the manager, the longer I stay.
Minus - this is probably not a healthy way to assume promotions happen.
