techrecoveryUsually we make it a point to not work on personal computers here at the office, however there are very few users who actually respect us IT/Tech Support/Help Desk/etc. and we like to help them out when we can.
One of said users was having some problems with an error message none of us had ever seen. In addition to him being one of our more liked users, we like to take on random challenges (especially on slow days.)
So, we get the computer from him and go through all the usual motions; spyware, virii, etc. Finally we find and solve the problem and get windows running correctly.
A few hours pass and we forget all about the old HP sitting idle in the corner. So im walking back into the office from lunch and i notice the screen is black, so i move in closer to see if something happened, or if it was a screen saver. As i get closer an image comes on the screen, i get even closer and i notice its a naked person, even closer still i see its a naked MAN. Now, im as comfortable with my sexuality as the next guy, however, walking into my office to see horse-cock Dave stradling a bale of hay is a bit unnerving.
Needless to say i informed my boss i would no longer be working on personal computers, and i would not be delivering the machine to the guy who dropped it off. I cant trust myself to not make a joke along the lines of "the problem was your screensaver was too big" or some other equally (for him) embarassing comment.
