User calls, leaves voice mail. "Hi, I have a really strange problem, I was trying to print and this kitten that we have that we're trying to give away walked across the keyboard, and now I can't print."

...

Try, say, removing the animal from your keyboard?

By the way, this reminds me of a great email we got at (OEM) tech support before our jobs were all sent to India.

"My pet monkey, Milo, ate some of the keys off the keyboard of my portable computer and I just wanted to know if this is covered under my warranty?"

I don't doubt it. The reason I remember it so well was the guy even bothered to put his monkey's name in the email. hee.

Oh, I know there are. We are probably at maximum cat capacity in our house though. Fortunately, we divested ourselves of half our cat population when my parents moved down and are now only owned by three cats.

But I still squeeze them! So I guess they're not entirely the boss of me. Unless they are psychically commanding me to squeeze them.

My cats enjoy walking on keyboards too. One time I let my girl cat name a family of my Sims. That AAAAAAAAAAAA sure was a mischief-maker.

Yes, so Milo would fall under the SOL portion of your warranty!

"We recommend you keep the kitten away from the keyboard and stick with mice in the future."
