At class, I've somehow ended up giving the programming lectures that our actual programming teacher either can't or won't do. During these, I generally spend an hour explaining concepts that should have been taught in the first week. But that's not the worst of it. Because of my "skill" with coding, I've accidentally become project manager for a professional-level project (which I'm paying to do, but technically should be getting paid for, as our work will be used by the teachers for god knows how long) where one team member never says anything, one member never shuts up, and the third is never there.

Can't I have just one bright, hard-working person in the class? Please?

Yep. You are that person.

When i was in school, I made sure I slacked off *just* enough so I was never the reliable one, yet not so much that if I was in a group other people would have to carry my load. It worked... but that's not a help to you since they already know you rock.

Sorry. That just sucks.
