This is not simply my third laptop setup call for today, it is also the third one with massive complications. The first setup was continuing an old call from a prior analyst, but I didn't realize the luser was on DIAL-UP until we were about half-way though. The scond, the luser wasn't able to make a backup using her given backup drive, so I had to walk her through how to make a backup on her old computer. Then there was the matter of other equipment she was expecting that had never been ordered...
On this third one, the user simply wasn't able to connect to the network, so we had to reboot the computer a few times, then he got lost a few times trying to restore his backup... and now I've already been on this call about 10 more minutes than the average...
