There's been an outage in the LA area since Saturday night, and MCI is totally denying the problem. Every single customer in that part of the state is calling in saying their interwebs are down. When they traceroute, they all hang at the same place. How can you deny that?
I've been trying to use it to my advantage, though. People keep calling in and saying "i think my DSLs got shut off cuz I didn't pay my bill," and then I make them give me a new credit card before telling them that it's a regional problem.
I can't take two days in a row of this :(
