A friend of mine at work last night was telling me how he'd had to call in to the local hsi provider to get a signal strength thing fixed. The tech set up a truck roll but it was something like 3 weeks out. My friend (who works tech support for another provider with me) thought he'd try one out on the tech...

"Well this is totally unacceptable! How can you call this customer service blah blah blah blah blah....." and yes... actually said the blahs.

The tech listened to this for a while and finally breaks down and starts laughing

"Sir? I can understand the frustration but why all the blahs?"

"Well... I work tech support... that's usually how far the customers get before I tune out. So I'm not sure how the rest of the speech is supposed to go."

So... both had a good laugh. A call was put in to a supervisor. The truck roll happens on Monday. I so want to do that now. *L*
