Hey Guys,

I know I've been silent lately, but its cause I'm gong through training for a new job! lol, so in 2 more weeks, i'll be posting a lot more again.

Anywhoo, the new apartment that we are moving into has qwest dsl service. I know where to get my dsl modem from, but does anyone have thoughts, concerns, etc. on the actual qwest service? I've never used them for anything, always gone with Cox cable internet.

You say that like it's a bad thing.....ehem.

Anyway...I too have only heard complaints about Qwest...but if you consider the nature of the work we do, chances are we'll only ever hear complaints.

Out here is Hell, Arizona, Qwest does a reasonably ok job, even with residential lines.

Can't speak about the speed or reliability for residential DSL, but they seem to keep us business customers fairly happy.

My old job used to be support DSL modems, so I'm ok with that part of things, and I'll know how to tech my own modem if I have issues, was more wondering about service outages, customer service, that sort of stuff. From the comments, its what I expected. :) Not the best in anything, like Cox, but I suppose that as long as I don't ask fucktard questions and do inane things like all the people who called in at the DSL place did, I should be ok.
