This is why I hate remedy. It crashed AGAIN! for the umpteenth time.

I have nothing further to really say except...

Whoever "invented" remedy should just die a really painful death. It causes me too much stress...and I'm sure some of my fellow reps on the floor, and in this community can vouch for me.

ConnectWise is da bomb. It's mostly geared to ISV's, though...haven't heard about people using it in-house.

I'll post somthing on the "lite" version that they sell, as the place I'm working at now bought it for our new "helpdesk" software... At least I won't have to deal with the setup of it..

I'd rather have my ancient version of Remedy (version 3 or 4 I think, from 1995 I believe) which I was using in 2000-2004 than Magic (which REALLY sucks ass) and the system I use currently. The current system is in-house version of Siebel. Not pretty, extremely slow, not geared to our needs, etc.

I definatly don't miss using remedy during my short contract at the state ... I'm using Heat now which I love ... well .. for the time being ... we'll see if things change as they always do ...
