stupid people

Stupid people are getting to me today. I've been working in the call
center for over a year now and have never had any problem dealing with
the idiots who call in. But now I've cracked. I want to reach through the
phone and strangle almost everyone who happens to call in today. And I am
starting to hear the boiling anger in my voice. Let me go HOME for the love
of all that is good. I've gotten 10 calls today! It's not like you NEED me.

So there... Call center sames job 18 months and counting... *hugs* I am developing a device called eStab... ith will send mild bursts of elctro-shock through the phone line to the callers ear when they are being rude, dumb and generally luser ish.

I feel your pain, really I do. But, I see your pain and raise you. I have to be here from 10 - 7 (yes, even on a holiday weekend). Everyone on campus goes home at 4:30. I sit here for 2 1/2 hours waiting for the phone to ring, but it never does...every damn day. So, I've been reduced to actually wishing for stupid people to call me.

I've put in 2.5 years at the same center with no real vacation other then a day here and there... If it weren't for my airsofting airsoft I think I'd hurt some one really bad.

My sister worked in a call center that didn't allow crafts, books, or games. How boring it must have been!

We don't really have any rules about what we do with our free time. I wish I would've thought of it being slow for the holiday weekend ahead of time. Would've brought the Dark Tower to read :) almost half done now.

Dark Tower, long time in waiting on that book. Worth waiting for. Pity to see the series end tho. My own damn fault for reading so fast. ;)

Ah, well. There are worlds other than these. And movies, and tv mini serieses and video games and spinoffs..
