I do graveyard and the main part of my job is answering all the emails that come in. Mostly fairly painfull but this gave me a laugh

Recently my computer was attacked through the Internet. The two IP =
addresses were (customers own IP) and 127.0.0.1

Computer comitting suicide?

ahh, we had a brilliant one once...customer sent in a five page email ranting and raving - actually rather well written - about how he was being attacked, and he wanted to know how to protect his machine, and surely we should do something since they were using OUR network to attack him...

yadda yadda yadda...

then we get to the IP. 127.0.0.1

And there was much howling of laughter on the helpdesk.
