Vendor replies that replacing missing RAM is not really their forte, and that maybe we should find out *why* it was missing. (This is fair enough)
We then ring the customer, who tells us (quite honestly really) that they took the RAM out of his PC to upgrade another PC and could they get some more..
uh oh ...
The answer to this is of course NO! and to tell them (vrey polietly of course) to talk to their cost centre about purchasing some more..
