Paco: "Ok, I can help you out with that. Let's go ahead and verify the settings."
Cust: "Ok, email is blah@mac.com."
Paco: "I'm sorry, I can't support mac.com, but I can help you with the settings for your ugh.net email, is that already set up?"
Cust: "This is the only email address I use."
Paco: "Well, short of helping you set up a new ugh.net email on the system, I can't help you."
Cust: "What? Why not!? It's my email!"
Paco: "We don't support mac.com, I don't know what the settings for it would be."
Cust: "But, it's my email! You provided it!"
Paco: "No. Mac.com provided that, we..."
Cust: "Don't lie to me, how am I getting on the internet if not through you?!"
Paco: "You are getting online through us."
Cust: "And this is my email which I can only get when I'm online through you!"
Paco: "... It's a DIFFERENT COMPANY providing that email! There's more on the internet than just Ugh.net! We don't control mac.com or have anything to do with them!"
Cust: "What?"
Paco: "OH-NAY UPPORT-SAY ACK-MAY DOT OM-KAY!"
Cust: "Well thanks for nothing!" *CLICK*
Paco: "AAAAHHHH MAIM KILL BURN BREAK SMACK HURT DESTROY ANNIHILATE..."
*click*
Paco: "Thank you for calling ugh.net, my name is paco, how can I help you?"

And the day wears on.

I had a call just like this last night. Took me 10 mins to explain to the guy that the email he was checking was not through us, 10 mins to setup and email through us and then 10 more mins to explain to him that 'No, he won't be getting that other places email on this email'.

Why don't people understand that email does not equal internet.

However, YOU HAVE TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FOR YOUR OUTLOOK EXPRESS TO WORK (I hate OE :/). IT IS NOT IT'S OWN SEPERATE THING.
