luser: (something to the effect to) What is that?
I am serous folks. I get this, and I get this more often than I would like to.
Another one:
me: are you connected through usb or ethernet?
luser: yes
or
me:which version of windows are you using?
luser: yes (or what is windows?)

Users usually tell me they have Windows 97, Windows 2000ME, Windows XP2000. Every now and then, I get the indignant reply of "MICROSOFT! You should know that!"

Mine usually tell me they're using 'Dell' or 'Compaq'. Their response is the same if I ask the brand of their modem.

What really bugs me are the ones that don't know what a computer is and insist on referring to it as the 'hard drive'.
