The other tech is working on a computer. Power is off. Power supply is still plugged in, though. Other tech turns around to get a CD or a screwdriver or something off the shelves. Now remember, the power is off. The box is not hibernating, it's off.
The CD tray opens.
Other tech turns around and gives it the hairy eyeball.
The CD tray closes.
We punctuate at it for a few minutes. "We need a young priest and an old priest," he says, and I lose it.
Boy, that was freaky.
Today's highlight:
Woman with ancient 486, ~200MB HDD, BRS on side and all, calls to check its status. "Oh, while you've got it there, could you lubricate the hard drive? It runs sort of slow sometimes."
We had no words.
