I wonder if I should be worried. One of my users just called me and asked how to boot his PC into safe mode.

I didn't ask why. I just told him what to press.

Fortunately, he is one of our savvier users, but still. I'm not sure I want to know.

A friend of mine is determined to reformat his computer (already talked him through doing it once), which is a little tricky is it's got WinXP Home and SATA drives (which means you have to prepare a floppy with the SATA drivers on it and hit a key at the right time during the install which makes windows ask for the disk a few min later).

I figure if he can build the disk correctly, then he'll be fine. If he can't, then he won't get anywhere.
