If you call me up to try to get help in refilling our cartriages with a third party vendor's ink I am going to be less then helpful. Please don't be surprised. If I'm in a good mood I will transfer you to sales so you can buy our special refill kit which comes pre-assembled and includes a fresh ink cartriage, no messy bottles to squeeze, no spills, just stick it in the printer and use it.

If they want to refill the ink that's fine and dandy, but since the revenue generated from ink sales goes to my paycheck (There is no money made on the printer it's self, it's sold at a loss), I am not about to shoot my self in the pocketbook and help some one spend money on a third party product. This isn't just my opinion, it's company policy. If they need help they need to talk to whom ever makes the refill kit, not me.

And if you think ink cartriage prices are bad you should see laser toner.

I know full well the costs of laser & ink jet; which is why I recommend people purchase laser. Better quality & lower costs per page, while having better customer support.
