Bored much?

I sat at work and decided to write this in my journal. It fits here.


Here I sit bored at work
Reading UF on network
connection which is active forevermore
while I support the weak and weary
fingers sore and eyesight bleary
laying prostrate on our call room floor.
Though the guy has a degree
something says he got it for free
from crackerjack; it's proping open his door.
For while he may be smart at something,
When it comes to net he knows next to nothing,
He believes the lies of salesman lore.
So he bought the wireless router,
and thus he screams at me ever louder.
"I've got wireless, what do I need a DSL line for?!"
I've tried to calm and educate him,
but I am compelled to soundly berate him
and stomp his silly Compaq into gore.
Yet I resist, the recorders running
And if I give in I'll soon be sunning
My head at the texas workforce door.
And so I'll answer all your questions,
and not ignore the boss suggestions.
And I will worry about my rent, nevermore.
