you know, I don't think I've ever been less dissapointed to get cut off from a custoemr than today. From a woman who was told she'd ahve to unisntall Windows 98. So she went to do so. In add/remove hardware.

I managed not to put in my notes that I'd diagnosed this as a pebkac error, with result code ID10T. barely.

Oh, and this was with the half-smooshed mouse at my new desk. damn shift bids.

that's when they have all of us choose our favorite schedule from a big bloody list, and then they go back, confer, and hand us our least favorite schedule with a big smile on their face.

By the way, obscuro, I get to stay where I'm sitting. With the one black keyboard on the entire floor with a ...wait for it...functioning hibernate button >=D

You work for ******** and there's barely any new keyboards in use? I'd think that they'd have fairly new PCs for all their worker bees at the most a year or so old.

No, there's more than one black keyboard. I'd say about 1/4 of the boards on our side are black.

But mine's the only one with a hibernate button. AND it works. I'm in tight with the training dept, so I had one of the trainers donate keyboards from our testing lab to IT just in case. Now I'm waiting on my black logitech mouse...>=D

I've gotten that call, though she did it in add/remove software. She was wondering why she couldn't find "windows" in there...
